Using natural ingredients to clean your oven.

Directions:1.  Remove the oven racks, thermometer and everything else inside your oven. Clean oven racks by soaking in the sink with hot water and vinegar.

2. Make a paste in a bowl by mixing spoonfuls of water with a 1/2 cup of baking soda. Get your desired consistency and create a paste that can be easily spread on the oven surfaces.

3. Spread the baking soda paste on the oven surfaces, avoiding the heating elements. You will notice that the baking soda will turn brown as you coat the grime. Use rubber gloves for application to prevent getting your hands greasy. This way, you won’t have to worry about the grime when you spread the paste on the dirtiest nooks and crannies.

4. Let the baking soda mixture sit overnight or for at least twelve hours.

5. The next day, wipe off the baking soda mixture with a wet cloth. You can also use a spatula for those hard to reach areas.

6. Put the vinegar in the spraying bottle and spray on the surfaces where you can see any baking soda residue. This will make the baking soda sizzle and foam until it can be wiped off again by a cloth.

7. Do a final run and wipe everything off until your oven looks shiny and grime-free. After wiping the interiors of your oven, clean your oven racks once again by wiping them with the wet cloth and put them back in the oven.
